Stanley Bulford died from wounds on 13th February, 1915, after having been sent to a base hospital on the coast, but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded. The 2nd Devonshire battalion was part of 23 Brigade, 8th Division, that was holding the line around Laventie in France during the opening months of 1915. |
